Great food at a reasonable price with excellent service

Food was excellent, my only complaint is that there is nothing to keep the cold blast when people go in or out.

the Hilltop is under new ownership. The coffee is excellent and the food is great. I love having breakfast there so much. The staff are so friendly and warm.

this was our second time here, definately the last time, our tea and coffee, tasted like it came out of the toilet, the milk for my tea was curdled, the bacon tasted like fish, the potatoes had black spots in them, our kids chocolate milk was one day before expiry, my husband got his coffee 20 minutes after we ordered it, the sausage was good though. Not worth the price you pay!

Cozy with good food and great home fries.

Staff are incredibly rude and bad table service. Found hair and a nail in the poutine I bought. Not worth 6.50 whatsoever.

Never going back!We ordered our breakfast. After waiting 40 minutes and watching 5 people that ordered after us recive their food before us, we found out that "somehow" the kitchen did not get our order. They didn't say anything to us they didn't even apologize.

Went there to get poutine with friends since I wasn't buying they kicked me out.... Me being a civilized person I understood that they have rules. But the employee was extremely ignorant to me about it. She yelled at me from across the store and told me to never come back again simply because I didn't wanna stand outside in -5 degrees weather.... Not only did I get yelled at but my friends poutine wasn't even cooked all the way.

Turkey Sandwich was just awful would not go back

More for couples, Not for children they only have one child seat. And didn’t seem like they were interested in getting more

Another great meal had at Hilltop Restaurant in Trenton. Donna and her staff are wonderful. Never had a bad meal there. And always a warm welcome feel.

Absolutely love this place! Home cooked food is excellant and it's like going back to granddad's place for some grub. Owner is amazingly kind and sweet and keep a comfortable atmosphere! You never have to worry about customer service cause they are on point. Food ✔Atmosphere ✔East Coast Vibe ✔Feels and tastes like I am back on PEI.

Food is amazing, great service

Had been recommended this place, and so I continued toward my goal of eating at every breakfast area in the region by coming here after my night shift. Liked the atmosphere, and the seating is fairly comfortable. Service was friendly and quick, and my food came very quickly. Eggs were done exactly how I wanted them (over-easy) and the hashbrowns were quite good. Bacon wasnt the best Ive had, but was still fairly good. And all of that plus toast and coffee was came out to juet under $10 before tips, so it was quite affordable. Definitely recommend giving here a try!
